User Experience Researcher (UX)

 

We are looking for a User Experience Researcher to join our growing product team in our office in Zurich. This role is a unique opportunity to help Crowdhouse understand the needs of our clients and deliver a first-class user experience for our market-leading real-estate platform. We believe strongly that our competitive advantage to all other players in the industry is having a strong understanding of our users needs and motivations.

Your Job

You will be responsible for the design, execution, analysis and reporting of user-centric design research and usability tests for new and existing products.

 

This includes the identification of user needs and their goals, research design modeling, ethnography as well as fast, iterative usability tests while working closely with a cross-functional product team including designers, developers, product owners and business stakeholders.

 

  • Plan and conduct in-person and remote user research with recommendations for improvement.
  • You are part of a team that acts as a "repository" for research-based usability knowledge.
  • You work with product owners and other team members to test business requirements with qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • You provide insights on user needs via observation, task-analysis and holistic study methods.
  • You work with UX + UI designers to test and improve product design proposals. 

Your profile

You should have experience with:

 

  • Identifying user needs 
  • Stakeholder management 
  • Research methods assessment 
  • Participant recruitment
  • User interviewing
  • Usability test moderation
  • Qualitative/quantitative analysis 
  • Presentations (written and verbal) 

 

You speak German (mother tongue) as well as English and feel comfortable working within an agile product development environment. You also have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Ergonomics, Engineering Psychology or relevant disciplines.
